Having everyone around for Easter
For most, Easter is an epic holiday. Everyone is off and it gives us an excuse to have a big dinner and get together with family and friends. Well, school is out and offices are closed but this Easter we can’t have the gang round….or can we? Here at Coole Swan HQ we have been brainstorming ways we want to keep the Easter vibe but at a social distance!
Drinks over Zoom
This one is not restricted to just Easter! Download the
Zoom app, set up a meeting and send the link to your friends. Then all you have to do is pour yourself a drink (clearly we would recommend Coole Swan), make a cocktail (or two!) and enjoy. If you want to impress your friends try this
cocktail.
Pick up a pen
It’s great that we can contact each other 24/7 but when the holiday of Easter was born (30 AD) they definitely had no WhatsApp or Snapchat! So, why not pen a letter with Easter tidings to a friend or family member? Be creative, add in gifts, mementos, little keepsakes. You can’t beat a letter in the post. Don’t stop at Easter, keep going become the new Emily Brontë.
Banter filled Bake-off
Ready? Set? Bake! Planning your show stopping dessert for this weekend? Post your creations on Instagram and tag your friends to inspire them to join in. You could run a competition – Best Bake 2020 and the lucky winner gets to host Easter 2021.Don’t forget to tag @cooleswan – we wants some inspiration too
Bring back the board game
Board games. Kinda retro. Loads of fun! Like everything else they have gone virtual. Who would have thought? We found
Steam and we can’t get enough of it. Share the fun with people inside and outside the house. And if you are still playing at 3AM, we accept no responsibility!
Do you have any other ideas for staying social? We would love to hear them! Post your ideas and tag us @cooleswan on
Instagram,
Facebook or
Twitter.
Stay safe, stay sane, stay together even when you’re apart.
Happy Easter,
From,
The Coole Swan Team
