It’s back. Created in 1918 in the French Quarter, New Orleans by Philibert Guichet, The Grasshopper is famed for its minty punch and green glow. Today, mixology genius, Rewfus Brode of the 43 Club has re-created The Grasshopper for us at Coole Swan. We hope you enjoy.
35ml Coole Swan
20ml Briottet Cacao Blanc
20ml Monin Crème de Menthe
Grated chocolate (optional) and/or mint sprig to garnish
1. Pour the three ingredients into a mixing glass.
2. Add at least two large cubes of ice and stir for a minute.
3. Strain into a coupe.
4. Add a garnish of your choice, we love a chocolate straw.
