Espresso Martini with a Coole Swan Twist

There is a reason why the espresso martini survived the 1980s, which so many ‘tini’s failed to do. It’s a master-piece, the brain child of the famed mixologist Dick Bradsell. So simple, yet so delicious, Dick we salute you with our Coole Swan twist.

Ingredients

25ml Coole Swan
20ml vodka
45ml Fresh Espresso (let this cool before mixing so you don't melt the ice and over dilute)
30ml coffee liqueur
10ml Aquafaba (chickpea water from a can of chickpeas)
Coffee beans to garnish

Method

1. Add ice to a mixing glass or jug and stir in the Kahlua, espresso and vodka
2. Strain this into your coupe or martini glass
3. Add ice to a shaker along with the Coole Swan and aquafaba
4. Shake long and hard to aerate effectively, creating a nice stable foam
5. Single strain slowly on top of your other ingredients, layering them
6. Garnish with three coffee beans, serve and enjoy
